Nursing Clinical Instructor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) with at least a Very Good GPA.
- Must have passed the Philippine Nursing Board Examination.
- Not more than 30 years old.
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or precepting nursing students is an advantage.
- Must obtain a current nursing license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) if successful in the personal interview, as specified in the vacancy.
- Must obtain certification through the Qualification Verification Program (QVP) of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development if successful in the personal interview, as specified in the vacancy.
- Strong clinical nursing knowledge and practical skills.
- Good communication, supervision, and student mentoring abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical nursing practice, and infection-control standards.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Teaching and Supervision: Guide and supervise nursing students in hospital and clinical settings, ensuring that they follow appropriate nursing procedures and professional standards.
- Laboratory and Simulation Instruction: Demonstrate and supervise nursing procedures in laboratory and simulation settings, including IV insertion, catheterization, nasogastric (NG) tube insertion, wound care, injections, and enema administration.
- Evaluation and Assessment: Assess students’ clinical performance, evaluate their nursing skills, and provide constructive feedback to improve their competence.
- Student Support and Mentoring: Guide students in professional conduct, ethical nursing practice, communication, and career development.
- Patient Safety and Infection Control: Promote compliance with infection-control procedures, patient safety protocols, and ethical standards.
- Clinical Training Coordination: Help ensure that students gain appropriate practical experience and follow the instructions of clinical supervisors and healthcare personnel.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of student performance, assessments, and clinical training activities as required.
- Professional Development: Keep nursing knowledge and clinical teaching practices current to support effective student learning.
