The Ministry of Health Sultanate of Oman is seeking qualified Nurses to provide high-quality patient care in healthcare facilities across Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, assisting physicians, and ensuring safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care in accordance with professional standards.

NURSE

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a specific nursing specialty.
  • Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and document patients’ health conditions and nursing care needs.
  • Administer medications, intravenous (IV) fluids, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and promptly recognize and report changes in their condition.
  • Assist physicians during medical examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and healthcare quality standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
