Basket House Plastic Factory is seeking an experienced Non-Woven Bag Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain industrial machinery used to cut, seal, print, and assemble reusable non-woven bags. The successful candidate will ensure accurate bag dimensions, proper sealing, quality printing, and efficient machine operation.
NON WOVEN BAG MACHINE OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- TESDA NC II in Machinist required.
- Previous experience operating industrial bag-making or similar manufacturing machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of machine setup, adjustment, operation, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to adjust sealing, cutting, and alignment mechanisms accurately.
- Knowledge of basic quality inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify production defects.
- Ability to safely handle and feed heavy non-woven fabric rolls.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Male applicants are preferred for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate non-woven bag manufacturing machines according to production requirements.
- Adjust thermal sealing bars, cutting systems, and alignment guides based on required bag dimensions.
- Feed non-woven fabric rolls into the production machine safely and efficiently.
- Replenish printing inks, handles, and other materials as required during production.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production.
- Check sample bags regularly for weak thermal seals, torn fabric, incorrect dimensions, or misaligned logos.
- Inspect finished bags to ensure they meet quality and production specifications.
- Identify and report machine problems, material issues, and product defects.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
- Keep the machine, tools, and work area clean and organized.
- Record production output, material usage, machine downtime, and quality issues when required.
- Follow production procedures, workplace safety requirements, and quality control standards.
- Work with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
