King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is seeking qualified and experienced NICU Nurses to join its healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns, ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
NICU
Qualifications:
- Must be a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BS Nursing) graduate with a valid nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or related neonatal nursing settings.
- Knowledge of neonatal care practices, critical care nursing, and emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with neonatal monitoring equipment and intensive care protocols.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and specialized healthcare environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing safe and high-quality newborn care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborn patients in the NICU.
- Monitor newborns’ vital signs, oxygen levels, feeding, and overall clinical condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and monitor neonatal equipment such as incubators, ventilators, and cardiac monitoring systems.
- Assist physicians during procedures and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing documentation, and clinical reports.
- Provide developmental care and support for newborns and their families.
- Educate and support parents regarding newborn care and NICU procedures.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality neonatal care.
