Balady Poultry Company is seeking a qualified Mechanical Industrial Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and mechanical systems, ensuring reliable plant operations, equipment efficiency, and compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Mechanical Industrial Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication / Tool & Die / Welding), Or related technical fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
• Experience in maintenance of conveyors, pumps, motors, fans, gearboxes, and drive systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices, Permit-to-Work (PTW), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive maintenance activities including inspections, lubrication, cleaning, tightening, and equipment checks according to maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform repairs or component replacements to restore equipment operation.
• Carry out alignment, bearing replacement, seal replacement, and servicing of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and fans.
• Maintain conveyors, chains, belts, sprockets, gearboxes, and drive systems and perform necessary adjustments.
• Inspect and support hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including hoses, valves, filters, and leak detection.
• Apply LOTO procedures, work permits, and safe maintenance practices at all times.
• Report and correct unsafe conditions and equipment defects.
• Record maintenance activities, work orders, spare parts usage, findings, and test results in maintenance systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations and electrical teams during repairs and shutdowns.
• Maintain tools, workshop equipment, housekeeping standards, and 5S practices.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support during shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance activities.
