VISCOFAN is offering an overseas employment opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in Belgium. The successful candidate will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot industrial equipment, and help ensure the reliable and safe operation of factory machinery and energy systems. Applicants should have technical training in industrial maintenance, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to work independently during factory standby shifts.

Maintenance Technician (Fully Automated Warehouse)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants aged 25–45, as specified in the supplied vacancy.
• High school graduate with technical vocational education.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment.
• Technical education in industrial maintenance is required; formal training or certification is strongly preferred.
• Able to read, understand, and accurately interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and circuits.
• Knowledgeable in three-phase motors, including delta connections.
• Able to apply Ohm’s law, perform basic electrical calculations, and troubleshoot electrical faults confidently and independently.
• Understands motor components and electrical protection systems, including PTC temperature sensors, fuses, thermal protection, and contactors.
• Understands electrical power factor (cos φ) and its practical application.
• Knowledgeable in lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and industrial safety practices.
• Able to work independently during factory standby shifts without direct supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Organized, safety-conscious, and committed to preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Able to maintain accurate technical records and coordinate effectively with colleagues and external contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks to keep industrial equipment and facilities operating efficiently.
• Assist in preparing, implementing, and monitoring the annual maintenance plan while adhering to budget requirements.
• Carry out daily and weekly maintenance schedules for machine lines and energy supply systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot industrial equipment independently.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, circuits, and three-phase motor connections.
• Monitor critical spare parts inventory to reduce equipment downtime.
• Help develop practical solutions to technical problems and recurring equipment failures.
• Supervise external contractors during maintenance and repair work to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and schedules.
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and energy supplies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for machinery, tools, buildings, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance plans to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
• Prepare or contribute to technical specifications, equipment standards, and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure that machinery and equipment comply with applicable safety requirements.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other established workplace safety protocols.
• Support compliance with machinery safety requirements, fire permits, inspections, and related regulations.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness, organization, and environmental awareness.
• Promote a strong safety culture among colleagues and contractors.
