Dematra NV is offering an overseas employment opportunity for a Maintenance Technician (Fully Automated Warehouse) in Belgium. The successful candidate will help monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot automated warehouse systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Maintenance Technician (Fully Automated Warehouse)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants aged 25–45, as specified in the supplied vacancy.
• High school graduate with technical vocational education or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related industrial maintenance role.
• Diploma or technical background in Electromechanics, Automotive Technology, or a similar technical field; the source also mentions a bachelor’s degree, which should be confirmed with the recruiter.
• Experience in the mechanical maintenance of industrial installations.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Flexible and willing to work in a two-shift schedule.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor automated warehouse systems from the control room and identify potential technical issues.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems to minimize equipment downtime.
• Analyze warehouse installations and recommend improvements to the Maintenance Manager.
• Monitor system performance and help maintain safe, efficient, and reliable warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper shift handovers and communicate outstanding maintenance concerns to incoming personnel.
• Coordinate with external technicians, suppliers, and service partners when necessary.
• Maintain an organized workplace and ensure tools, spare parts, and maintenance equipment are available and properly maintained.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and applicable regulations, particularly when working at heights.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and assist with maintenance activities as required.
• Report maintenance activities, technical issues, and equipment conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
