Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in machine operation or large-format printing.
• Experience operating digital printers such as Mimaki, DGEN, solvent, or UV printers.
• Familiarity with RIP software (e.g., RasterLink, Caldera, Onyx) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of color management and media profiling.
• Ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Physically fit to handle large rolls of printing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Operate large-format printing machines such as Mimaki, DGEN, solvent, and UV printers.
• Set up print jobs including media loading, ink preparation, and file verification.
• Perform routine maintenance such as print head cleaning, calibration, and nozzle checks.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and resolve print quality problems.
• Handle various printing materials including flex banner, vinyl, mesh, sticker, backlit, and canvas.
• Ensure proper drying, curing, and finishing of printed outputs.
• Follow production schedules, job orders, and quality requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the printing area.
• Coordinate with design and finishing teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Follow safety procedures when handling inks, chemicals, and printing equipment.
