MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Must possess a valid JFT-Basic certificate or JLPT N4 or higher.
• Must have a valid SSW Food and Beverage Manufacturing Prometric certificate.
• Candidates without the required Prometric certificate may be considered if willing to take the SSW Food and Beverage Manufacturing Prometric examination.
• Candidates who need additional Japanese language preparation must be willing to undergo a 6-month Japanese language proficiency class.
• Ability to follow production procedures, safety instructions, and technical work instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Excel, are an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Willing to learn Japanese language and adapt to Japanese workplace practices.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor filling and processing machines according to the production plan.
• Produce the required SKUs and quantities while maintaining product quality and process stability.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and safety checks before starting production.
• Monitor machine performance and respond appropriately to machine abnormalities.
• Participate in workplace safety activities and hazard-prediction programs.
• Monitor key process parameters such as temperature, pressure, torque, and operating rate.
• Conduct product sampling and basic quality checks according to established procedures.
• Ensure products and processes meet required quality and production standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and equipment care, including greasing and lubrication.
• Check equipment for loose bolts and other basic mechanical issues.
• Report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and production abnormalities promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records and process documentation.
• Perform basic computer tasks, including the use of email and Microsoft Excel.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and company procedures.
• Support process improvement, waste reduction, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Work closely with production team members, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and quality staff.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.
