BA Industries Pte Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Installer/Fabricator to join its team in Fiji. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in steel fabrication, including cutting, bending, and MIG and TIG welding, as well as the ability to understand measurements and technical details.

INSTALLER/FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

  • Skilled in cutting, bending, and welding steel, including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Ability to understand and accurately work with measurements, dimensions, and technical details.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Driver’s License is an advantage.
  • Practical, safety-conscious, reliable, and physically capable of performing fabrication and installation work.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform steel fabrication and installation work according to project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Cut, measure, bend, fit, and prepare steel and metal components for fabrication and installation.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and other metal components as required.
  • Read and understand measurements, dimensions, technical details, and fabrication instructions.
  • Assemble and install fabricated steel structures, components, frames, and related products.
  • Inspect fabricated and installed components to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, fit, and workmanship.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cutting equipment, and other fabrication machinery safely and correctly.
  • Prepare materials and work areas before fabrication and installation activities.
  • Identify fabrication or installation issues and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and proper working condition.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, welding safety requirements, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators, installers, and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Perform other fabrication, welding, installation, and site duties assigned by management.
