INJECTION MOLD SETTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Mold Setter in the Plastics/Polymer industry.
- Required experience with ARBURG and ENGEL injection molding machines.
- Must have a Technical Professional Bachelor’s degree or related technical qualification.
- Skilled in mold setup, machine parameter adjustment, and process optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of injection molding processes, molds, machines, and production procedures.
- Knowledge of quality checks, production monitoring, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to identify and correct molding defects and process irregularities.
- Ability to accurately adjust machine settings based on product requirements and production conditions.
- Good understanding of injection molding parameters, cycle times, temperatures, pressures, and cooling processes.
- Precise, responsible, and capable of working independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willing and flexible to work on a 3-shift rotation.
- Good English communication skills.
- Willing to learn Dutch.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare injection molding machines for production according to manufacturing specifications.
- Install, remove, and change injection molds safely and efficiently.
- Operate and set up ARBURG and ENGEL injection molding machines.
- Adjust machine parameters to achieve the required production and product specifications.
- Optimize molding processes to improve productivity, efficiency, cycle times, and product quality.
- Monitor machine operation and production processes to ensure stable and consistent output.
- Perform start-up procedures and verify that machines and molds are operating correctly before full production.
- Monitor injection molding parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, cooling time, and cycle time.
- Conduct quality checks on molded products and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Make appropriate machine or process adjustments to correct quality and production issues.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mold, and process-related problems.
- Identify the root causes of machine or production issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, quality control, and technical teams to resolve operational problems.
- Monitor production output and ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production, machine-setting, quality, and troubleshooting records.
- Follow established work instructions, production procedures, and safety requirements.
- Perform routine checks of machines, molds, tools, and related equipment.
- Ensure molds and machines are handled, cleaned, and maintained properly to prevent damage and production interruptions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all applicable occupational health and safety procedures when working with machinery, molds, and production equipment.
- Report equipment problems, recurring defects, and production abnormalities to the appropriate supervisor.
- Support continuous improvement activities aimed at improving production efficiency, quality, and process stability.
- Perform other injection molding, mold-setting, and production duties assigned by management.
