INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC / LOCKSMITH

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, locksmithing, fabrication, or a related field.
• Skilled in machine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Practical experience in fabrication and metalworking.
• Skilled in the proper use of locksmith tools and equipment.
• Good understanding of mechanical principles, machine components, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform appropriate repairs and adjustments.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical maintenance equipment safely.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, measurements, and mechanical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving and practical mechanical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and capable of working independently or as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and related systems.
• Inspect machines and equipment regularly to identify mechanical wear, damage, abnormalities, and potential breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot machinery to determine the cause of equipment problems.
• Repair, adjust, replace, and reinstall defective or worn mechanical components.
• Perform machine maintenance and servicing according to established procedures and technical requirements.
• Carry out basic fabrication and metalworking tasks required for equipment repair and maintenance.
• Measure, cut, drill, grind, shape, and assemble metal components for maintenance and fabrication work.
• Perform locksmith-related tasks, including installation, adjustment, repair, and replacement of locks, hardware, and related components.
• Use locksmith tools, hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical maintenance equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist in the fabrication and installation of brackets, supports, frames, guards, fittings, and other mechanical components.
• Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, measurements, equipment instructions, and technical specifications.
• Conduct functional checks and testing after repairs or maintenance to ensure equipment operates properly.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and report major mechanical issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and replacement parts.
• Keep tools, machinery, work areas, and maintenance facilities clean and organized.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when handling machinery, tools, metal materials, lubricants, and other maintenance equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, production personnel, and other maintenance staff to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Perform other mechanical maintenance, fabrication, locksmith, and industrial repair duties as assigned.
