Serikandi Cafe & Restaurant is seeking an experienced Hospital Food Service Project Manager to oversee food service projects and operations within a healthcare facility in Brunei. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing food service initiatives, ensuring compliance with healthcare and food safety standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and delivering safe, nutritious, and high-quality food services for patients, staff, and visitors.
Hospital Food Service Project Manager
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Several years of experience in healthcare food service management, hospitality operations, or project management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare food service operations, food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee food service projects, including kitchen renovations, equipment upgrades, menu implementation, technology integration, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
- Identify and resolve project risks and operational challenges.
- Budget and Resource Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets and resource allocations.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate the procurement of equipment, supplies, and contracted services.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of resources to support project objectives.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and hospital policies.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor food service operations to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Lead cross-functional project teams and promote effective collaboration among departments.
- Communicate project objectives, progress updates, and outcomes to hospital leadership and key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to food service personnel involved in project implementation.
