Jana International Trading LLC is hiring General Mechanical Maintenance Mechanics for deployment to Oman. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

GENERAL MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• At least a High School Graduate or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic.
• Experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
• Skilled in repairing or replacing faulty mechanical parts and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on machines, equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults and equipment malfunctions.
• Repair, replace, and adjust defective mechanical parts and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of machinery to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain maintenance records and document repair activities.
• Assist in equipment installation, assembly, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and serviceable condition.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and maintenance procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to support operational requirements.
