CS Beton s.r.o. is seeking skilled Fitters – Metal Workers to support the production of reinforced concrete prefabricated products. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating reinforcement cages, preparing molds, operating metalworking equipment, and performing maintenance activities in accordance with engineering drawings and production schedules.

Fitter – Metal Worker

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 23 to 40 years old.
• Experience as a Fitter, Metal Worker, Steel Fixer, Welder, or in a similar metal fabrication or construction role.
• Skilled in welding (CO₂/MIG-MAG and electrode welding), cutting, drilling, grinding, and bending of steel materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering, reinforcement, and construction drawings.
• Experience operating steel straightening, bending, and cutting equipment.
• Manual dexterity with strong attention to detail, precision, and workmanship.
• Reliable, hardworking, punctual, flexible, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to learn new skills and acquire basic Czech language proficiency.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience in the construction, precast concrete, or engineering industry is an advantage.
• Experience operating overhead cranes is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license for four-wheel vehicles is an advantage.
• Must be physically fit and in excellent health.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reinforcement cages for reinforced concrete prefabricates by welding, binding, and assembling steel reinforcement according to engineering drawings.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and preparation of molds used in the production of concrete products.
• Operate concrete steel straightening, bending, and cutting machines.
• Prepare reinforcement steel according to daily production schedules and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, reinforcement plans, and fabrication documentation.
• Perform manual and machine cutting, bending, drilling, grinding, and shaping of reinforcing steel.
• Carry out welding using CO₂ (MIG/MAG) and electrode welding processes as required.
• Inspect finished reinforcement assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and design requirements.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of machines, tools, and production equipment.
• Assist in other production areas when assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
