FIT-OUT ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in fit-out and interior finishing projects, preferably in GCC countries.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, wood products, joinery works, and installation methods.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, preparation and review of shop drawings, and ERP systems.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works.
• Strong site supervision, subcontractor management, quality control, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of construction methods, project execution, and quality assurance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple project activities simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and manage all interior fit-out and finishing works from project commencement to completion.
• Review architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination before execution.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate fit-out activities with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards.
• Supervise the installation of finishing materials, including woodworks, ceilings, flooring, partitions, wall cladding, painting, and decorative finishes.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to prevent clashes and ensure seamless project execution.
• Inspect completed works and ensure compliance with approved specifications, local regulations, and client requirements.
• Manage subcontractors by monitoring productivity, workmanship, safety compliance, and project deliverables.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Monitor project costs, material usage, and labor productivity to maintain budget control.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of finishing materials to ensure uninterrupted project activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards throughout the project.
• Participate in project meetings, client inspections, and final handover activities.
• Perform other engineering and project management duties assigned by management.
