A leading agricultural and livestock feed operation in Canada is seeking an experienced and highly organized Feed Mill Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of a feed mill facility. The successful candidate will manage daily mill operations, supervise staff, coordinate production and ingredient supply, maintain feed quality, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The position requires strong knowledge of feed manufacturing, swine diets, batching systems, maintenance, inventory management, and production planning.

Qualifications:
- Male/Female.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Feed Mill Manager or in a closely related feed mill management position.
- Proven experience with a mill batching system.
- Good understanding of swine diets and feed quality parameters.
- Strong knowledge of feed mill production processes, including batching, mixing, pelleting, mash production, grain receiving, and loadout.
- Excellent organizational, planning, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Mechanically inclined, with the ability to understand mill machinery, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate mill staff.
- Good understanding of workplace safety, feed quality control, inventory management, and production procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agricultural and feed manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Work credentials must be supported by government documents linked to employment, such as SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth records for local employment and/or an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) for applicants with overseas work experience.
- Valid IELTS with CLB 4, or willingness to take the IELTS test.
- Valid passport.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to comply with Canadian workplace, safety, employment, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall performance of the feed mill to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and continuous operations across all areas of the facility.
- Supervise, coach, train, and support mill staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee grain receiving, ingredient handling, batching, pelleting, mash production, loadout, and shipping operations.
- Ensure feed products are manufactured according to approved formulas, specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Coordinate production schedules, staffing requirements, equipment availability, and deliveries to meet operational demands.
- Monitor the mill batching system and ensure accurate weighing, batching, mixing, and processing of feed ingredients.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and management of grains, ingredients, finished feeds, and other materials.
- Monitor feed quality and ensure products meet required specifications and quality parameters.
- Apply knowledge of swine diets and feed quality requirements to support consistent and appropriate feed production.
- Oversee feed and ingredient inventory, including regular stock monitoring and monthly inventory counts.
- Coordinate grain and ingredient procurement and delivery schedules to maintain adequate supplies and prevent production interruptions.
- Work closely with suppliers and relevant personnel to ensure timely availability of grains, feed ingredients, packaging, and other required materials.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety requirements, Feed Assure standards, environmental requirements, and company policies.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure employees properly follow established operating and safety procedures.
- Drive improvements in equipment maintenance by supporting structured preventive and scheduled maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to identify equipment problems and minimize downtime.
- Monitor the condition and operational readiness of mill machinery, vehicles, tools, buildings, storage areas, and yard facilities.
- Ensure the mill, yard, vehicles, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Develop, maintain, and improve preventive programs, procedures, and systems that support efficient mill operations.
- Monitor production performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate operational, production, inventory, maintenance, quality, and safety records.
- Coordinate with management and other departments regarding production requirements, feed demand, inventory, maintenance, and operational priorities.
- Ensure products are loaded, dispatched, and delivered safely and according to required timelines.
- Perform other management, production, and operational duties assigned by the company.
