FARM WORKER

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• With relevant work experience in crop farming, animal raising, or dairy production.
• Knowledgeable in planting, cultivating, harvesting, animal care, and milking procedures.
• Familiarity with operating basic farm tools, agricultural equipment, and dairy machinery.
• Ability to perform general farm maintenance and routine agricultural tasks.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work, including lifting and carrying supplies.
• Hardworking, responsible, disciplined, and willing to work under varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of farm hygiene, animal welfare, and basic safety practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general farm activities, including land preparation, planting, watering, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
• Assist in the daily care and management of farm animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
• Perform milking activities and assist in the proper handling, storage, and cleanliness of dairy products.
• Operate basic farm tools, agricultural machinery, and dairy equipment as instructed.
• Clean and maintain animal shelters, barns, milking areas, and other farm facilities.
• Assist in preparing animal feed and maintaining adequate food and water supplies.
• Monitor crops and livestock for signs of disease, pests, or other problems and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow proper sanitation, animal care, and farm safety procedures.
• Maintain and organize farm tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with general farm repairs, maintenance, and other agricultural activities as assigned.
• Work with other farm personnel to ensure efficient daily farm operations.
