CROP AND ANIMAL FARMER

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• With relevant work experience in crop farming, livestock raising, or dairy production.
• Knowledgeable in crop cultivation, planting, watering, harvesting, and basic farm management.
• Familiar with animal care, feeding, breeding, and monitoring livestock health.
• Knowledge of proper milking procedures and basic dairy production practices.
• Skilled in operating basic agricultural tools, farm machinery, and dairy equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor farm work and other physically demanding tasks.
• Hardworking, responsible, disciplined, and attentive to details.
• Ability to follow farm instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of farm sanitation, animal welfare, and occupational safety practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare land, plant crops, cultivate fields, apply fertilizers as instructed, and assist with harvesting activities.
• Perform daily crop maintenance, including watering, weeding, pruning, and monitoring plant growth.
• Assist in caring for livestock by providing feed, clean water, and proper shelter.
• Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform milking activities and assist with the proper handling, storage, and cleanliness of dairy products.
• Operate and maintain basic farm tools, agricultural equipment, and dairy machinery.
• Clean and maintain barns, animal shelters, feeding areas, milking facilities, and other farm structures.
• Assist in preparing animal feed and maintaining adequate supplies of farm materials.
• Follow proper procedures for crop production, animal handling, farm hygiene, and safety.
• Maintain farm tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Assist with general farm maintenance and other crop or livestock-related activities as assigned.
