Facility Supervisor (Horticultural Packing Facility)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in horticulture, agriculture, food processing, packing facilities, or related production environments.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a packing shed, warehouse, or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of quality control, food safety standards, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Experience with packing line equipment, grading systems, inventory management, and production reporting.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including peak harvest periods when required.
• Valid passport and readiness to provide supporting documents such as employment certificates, police clearance, educational records, and other visa-related requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily packing shed operations to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
• Lead, train, and support packing facility staff to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
• Monitor product quality, grading, sorting, and packaging processes to meet customer and export standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and quality assurance requirements.
• Coordinate workforce allocation, shift planning, and workflow optimization during peak harvest periods.
• Monitor packing equipment, conveyors, grading machines, and related systems, reporting maintenance needs as required.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory data, and operational reports.
• Collaborate with farm management, logistics teams, and quality personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch of produce.
