Facilities Management Staff / Kitchen Helper

Qualifications:

• Female applicants aged 25 to 45 years old.
• High school or vocational school graduate.
• At least three (3) years of experience working in a modern kitchen or a similar role, as specified in the job requirements.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and proper food handling.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance of buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas.
• Experience coordinating with cleaning staff, contractors, and supervisors.
• Ability to inspect facilities, identify safety hazards, and address routine maintenance concerns.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn the Czech language.
• Non-smoker.
• Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning, maintenance, and other related tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently when required, and cooperate with supervisors and other staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain living quarters, adjacent premises, and other assigned areas in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions and the agreed scope of work.
• Perform laundry-related tasks, including washing and ironing clothes and other household or facility items.
• Take care of flowers and plants and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of surrounding areas.
• Carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance inside buildings, including basic repairs to fixtures, equipment, and technical installations within the scope of assigned duties.
• Help ensure the proper functioning, cleanliness, and general upkeep of buildings and facilities.
• Participate in cleaning activities and monitor the condition of common areas, living spaces, and other assigned premises.
• Coordinate with cleaning staff and contractors to support the proper completion of maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Supervise cleaning personnel and contractors when assigned, and conduct routine facility inspections to check cleanliness, order, and safety.
• Identify maintenance requirements, damaged equipment, potential hazards, and other facility-related concerns.
• Respond appropriately to visitor-related issues, including excessive noise, property damage, and other irregularities, and report or address them in accordance with workplace procedures.
• Inform management or building owners about maintenance concerns that require extensive repairs or specialized technical assistance.
• Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and facility management procedures.
• Provide occasional assistance to another department when agreed upon with the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties in accordance with the agreed work assignment and instructions from the supervisor.
