Job Location: Saudi Arabia
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is seeking qualified and experienced EMS Technicians to join its healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide emergency medical support, assist in patient care during transport and emergency situations, and ensure safe and effective pre-hospital medical services in accordance with healthcare standards and protocols.
EMS Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an EMS Technician or related emergency medical role.
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, patient assessment, and basic life support practices.
- Familiarity with emergency medical equipment and patient transport procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure emergency situations.
- Physically fit and capable of performing emergency response duties.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional healthcare standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical assistance and support during medical emergencies.
- Assess patients’ conditions and provide appropriate first aid and emergency care as required.
- Assist with patient transportation and ensure safe transfer of patients within healthcare facilities or during emergency response situations.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes to medical personnel.
- Assist physicians, nurses, and emergency medical teams in delivering patient care.
- Follow established emergency medical procedures, infection control practices, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure emergency equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and ready for use.
- Provide compassionate and professional care while maintaining patient dignity and safety.
