Electronics Technician

Qualifications:

• Practical experience in repairing and troubleshooting arcade machines and electronic amusement equipment.
• Hands-on knowledge of electronic components, circuits, wiring, power supplies, and control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing video game or arcade equipment is preferred.
• Practical experience in an amusement park, family entertainment center, arcade, or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic faults using appropriate testing tools and equipment.
• Basic soldering, desoldering, wiring, and electronic component replacement skills.
• Good understanding of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently on technical repairs.
• Able to respond efficiently to equipment breakdowns and urgent technical issues.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced family entertainment and amusement environment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot arcade machines and electronic amusement equipment.
• Inspect arcade machines, gaming equipment, control systems, electronic components, wiring, and circuit boards for faults.
• Identify electrical and electronic problems using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform repairs, component replacement, soldering, wiring, and basic electronic servicing as required.
• Troubleshoot video game machines, arcade cabinets, control panels, displays, power supplies, and related equipment.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on arcade machines and amusement equipment to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Inspect cables, connectors, switches, sensors, motors, power supplies, and other electronic or electromechanical components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in entertainment and amusement areas.
• Assist with the installation, setup, relocation, and commissioning of arcade and amusement equipment.
• Keep accurate records of equipment faults, repairs, replacement parts, and maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and technical problems during operating hours.
• Coordinate with supervisors, IT personnel, vendors, and other technicians when specialized technical support is required.
• Maintain an adequate supply of tools, spare parts, and electronic components needed for routine repairs.
• Follow proper procedures when handling electrical and electronic equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe technical work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and electrical and equipment-handling standards.
• Help minimize equipment downtime and maintain reliable operation of entertainment systems.
• Perform other electronics repair and maintenance duties assigned by management.
