Job Location: Qatar

HV Electrical Engineer is looking for skilled and experienced Electrical Technicians to join its facilities maintenance team at Hamad International Airport in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining electrical systems within large commercial or industrial facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Electrical Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within large commercial or industrial establishments.
  • Experience must be in maintenance operations; applicants with construction-only backgrounds will not be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in power distribution, lighting, control, and related systems.
  • Inspect electrical equipment to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Install, test, and replace electrical components and equipment as required.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to ensure minimal operational downtime.
