E&I TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Candidates must have a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
- Preferably with 3–5 years or more of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within industrial facilities such as oil and gas, petrochemical, power, or manufacturing.
- Must be knowledgeable in the use of electrical and instrumentation testing and calibration equipment.
- Must have experience with the installation, maintenance, testing, repair, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Must be familiar with applicable industrial safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
- Must be able to work safely and effectively in an industrial environment.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels, transmitters, analyzers, sensors, valves, and field instruments.
- Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments in accordance with established maintenance procedures.
- Use electrical and instrumentation testing and calibration equipment to diagnose faults and verify equipment performance.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify electrical, instrumentation, and control-system issues.
- Follow maintenance procedures, technical specifications, and established workplace safety requirements.
- Comply with applicable safety standards and permit-to-work systems when performing maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, calibration, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
