Door Attendant/Doorman

Qualifications:

  • Male or female applicants are welcome.
  • Preferably 21–35 years old, subject to the employer’s requirements and applicable regulations.
  • At least a high school graduate; hospitality-related education or training is an advantage.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Doorman, Door Attendant, or Guest Services Attendant in a hotel or resort.
  • Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
  • Well-groomed, courteous, approachable, and customer-service-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively with a team.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at and depart from the resort.
  • Open and hold doors for guests and provide courteous assistance at the entrance.
  • Assist guests with entering and exiting vehicles when needed.
  • Coordinate with bell attendants and front desk staff to assist guests with luggage and arrival arrangements.
  • Provide basic information about resort facilities, services, directions, and nearby attractions.
  • Assist with calling taxis or arranging transportation when requested.
  • Monitor the entrance and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming arrival area.
  • Observe guest arrivals and departures and communicate relevant information to the front office team.
  • Respond politely to guest inquiries and refer complaints or special requests to the appropriate department.
  • Support crowd flow and help ensure safe and orderly access to the resort entrance.
  • Follow resort policies, guest privacy standards, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Work closely with security, concierge, bell services, and reception teams to provide efficient guest assistance.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the front office supervisor or resort management.
