Buraimi Berries is seeking a skilled Dessert Chef to prepare and present high-quality desserts, ice cream-based specialties, and other sweet menu items. The successful candidate will ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced dessert shop environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working in dessert shops, pastry shops, cafés, or similar establishments in the Philippines is required.
  • Must be a Senior High School graduate.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Skilled in preparing and decorating a wide variety of desserts and sweet products.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality desserts.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce a variety of desserts, ice cream specialties, waffles, crepes, pastries, and other sweet menu items according to standardized recipes.
  • Decorate and present desserts to meet the company’s quality and presentation standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and product appearance.
  • Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients used in dessert preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Assist in inventory monitoring, stock rotation, and ordering of ingredients when necessary.
  • Minimize food waste through proper storage, handling, and portion control.
  • Develop new dessert ideas and contribute to menu improvements when required.
  • Work closely with the shop team to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
