CRUSHER ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Must have a Technical Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Hydraulics, or a related field.
• Must have proven hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in crusher plants or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience working with crusher plants, conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders, motors, and control panels is highly advantageous.
• Must be capable of diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in heavy equipment and trucks.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel-powered pumps, engines, and mechanical equipment is an advantage.
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Must have strong electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills.
• A valid driving license is an advantage, where applicable.
• Must be safety-conscious and capable of working in demanding construction, quarry, and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in crusher plants.
• Perform electrical maintenance on crushers, conveyors, feeders, vibrating screens, motors, control panels, and other plant equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect and repair wiring, cables, switches, relays, fuses, sensors, starters, contactors, and electrical connections.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electric motors, motor control systems, and other electrical components.
• Perform electrical maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks when required.
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems associated with diesel-powered pumps and hydraulic equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect electrical installations and identify damaged, worn, or defective components.
• Replace faulty electrical components and verify proper equipment operation after repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and replaced components.
• Follow established electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and site safety standards.
