CRANE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Crane Operator.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in a related field.
• Must hold a valid Crane Operator Certification or License.
• Experience operating Liebherr mobile, crawler, or all-terrain cranes is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, lift plans, and lifting procedures.
• Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices and heavy equipment operation.
• Willing to work overtime and be assigned to remote project sites as required.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operational inspections and daily safety checks to ensure cranes are in good working condition before use.
• Operate Liebherr mobile, crawler, or all-terrain cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and site procedures.
• Read and interpret load charts, lift plans, work instructions, and crane operating manuals to execute lifting operations safely.
• Lift, move, and position heavy loads according to approved lifting plans and established safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with riggers, signalmen, and supervisors using standard hand signals and radio communication during lifting operations.
• Monitor crane performance during operation and immediately report mechanical defects, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure crane stability by verifying ground conditions, outrigger placement, and load capacities before lifting.
• Maintain operational records and complete required inspection and maintenance documentation.
• Comply with all company safety policies, project requirements, and applicable lifting regulations.
