Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Proven experience as a Cook in a private household is required.
• Must have strong experience in preparing and cooking Arabic dishes.
• Knowledgeable in preparing a wide variety of local and international dishes.
• Must have experience preparing different meals for an employer and the employer’s family at home.
• Able to independently prepare a variety of meals without extensive training or supervision.
• Skilled in food preparation, cooking, seasoning, meal planning, and kitchen organization.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling.
• Able to follow instructions and adapt meals according to the employer’s preferences.
• Responsible, hardworking, organized, trustworthy, and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook daily meals for the employer and family members.
• Prepare a wide variety of Arabic dishes according to the family’s preferences and requirements.
• Prepare local and international dishes using appropriate cooking methods and ingredients.
• Plan and prepare different meals to provide variety in the household menu.
• Follow recipes, family preferences, dietary instructions, and meal schedules as required.
• Select, prepare, wash, cut, season, and cook fresh ingredients properly.
• Ensure that meals are prepared with good taste, proper presentation, and appropriate portion sizes.
• Adjust dishes according to the employer’s preferred taste and cooking style.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and other meals as requested.
• Maintain proper food handling, kitchen hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Wash and organize cooking utensils, dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment after use.
• Keep the kitchen, cooking areas, countertops, and food preparation spaces clean and organized.
• Properly store food ingredients and prepared meals to maintain freshness and quality.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and inform the employer when ingredients or cooking supplies need replenishment.
• Minimize food waste through proper food preparation, storage, and portion control.
• Properly operate and care for household cooking appliances and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen before, during, and after meal preparation.
• Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Follow the employer’s household routines, instructions, and preferences.
• Perform other cooking and household kitchen duties reasonably assigned by the employer.
