Telemu No. 16 Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer / Supervisor to oversee construction activities, building operations, and maintenance projects in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating construction teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER/SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building engineering, facilities management, property maintenance, or building operations.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use properties is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Proven experience in construction supervision and site coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple activities.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is completed according to project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, plans, and technical documents.
• Monitor project progress, materials, manpower, and equipment requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with construction standards.
• Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to construction teams.
• Ensure proper implementation of construction methods, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and improvement works for building facilities.
• Ensure work is completed within schedule and meets required quality standards.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Perform other construction supervision duties as assigned by management.
