COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in commercial equipment maintenance and repair.
• Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, or related fields.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or food service equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration equipment, including HVAC/R systems and commercial kitchen appliances.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or food service equipment.
• Use handheld devices to document service calls, track parts used, and maintain accurate service logs.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration cycles.
• Work in various environments, including rooftops, tight spaces, and extreme temperatures.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs, providing technical explanations and promoting service products.
• Travel frequently to client sites for on-site service and support.
