Catrion Catering Holding Company is seeking qualified and experienced Cold Kitchen & Preparation Commis candidates for a major international aviation catering project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist in preparing and producing cold kitchen items while ensuring compliance with Saudia Catering standards, customer specifications, food safety requirements, and company procedures.
COLD KITCHEN & PREPARATION – COMMIS
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Commis or similar role in cold kitchen operations.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Previous experience in in-flight catering, five-star hotels, or cruise lines is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cold kitchen preparation methods, food safety practices, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume catering environment.
- Good teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts as required.
- Available for immediate processing and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of cold kitchen items according to Saudia Catering standards and approved customer specifications.
- Support daily food preparation, assembly, and presentation activities.
- Ensure production activities are completed according to established manuals, recipes, and procedures.
- Maintain quality, consistency, and proper portion control of food products.
- Assist in airline catering, company restaurants, and outside party catering operations.
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and preparation areas.
- Support chefs and kitchen team members in meeting daily production requirements.
- Ensure all prepared items meet required quality and presentation standards before service or dispatch.
