Triplaco is seeking experienced and technically skilled CNC Wood Operators to join its wood furniture manufacturing operations in Belgium. The successful candidates will operate and program CNC woodworking machines for the accurate and efficient processing of wood panels and furniture components. The role requires strong technical knowledge, experience with CNC programming and machine operation, and the ability to interpret working drawings and produce high-quality wood products according to specifications.

CNC WOOD OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Age: 25–40 years old.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wood furniture manufacturing, particularly working with wood panels.
• Proven ability to program CNC woodworking machines.
• Experience operating CNC machines using WoodWop (Homag Group) and/or Maestro (SCM Group).
• Experience operating 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machines for complex panel processing.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC woodworking processes, machine setup, tooling, and production procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret working drawings, technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications.
• Good understanding of wood panel processing and furniture manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and consistent work.
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC machine and programming issues effectively.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and safe operation of CNC machinery.
• Must have a strong affinity for woodworking.
• Reliable, disciplined, and able to work efficiently in a production environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC woodworking machines for cutting, drilling, routing, milling, and processing wood panels and furniture components.
• Program CNC machines according to production requirements, working drawings, and technical specifications.
• Set up and prepare CNC machines, including selecting appropriate tools, programs, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Operate WoodWop (Homag Group) and/or Maestro (SCM Group) CNC programming and operating systems.
• Operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines for complex wood panel processing and precision machining.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, working drawings, cutting plans, measurements, and production specifications.
• Translate technical drawings and production requirements into appropriate CNC programs and machine settings.
• Check dimensions, cuts, drilling positions, edges, joints, and other processed details to ensure accuracy.
• Perform test runs and make necessary program or machine adjustments before full production.
• Monitor CNC machines during operation and identify abnormal machine performance, tool wear, or processing issues.
• Select, install, and replace cutting tools, drills, router bits, and other CNC tooling as required.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve common CNC machine operating and programming issues.
• Inspect finished wood panels and components for dimensional accuracy, quality, and conformity with specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine parameters and programs to maintain consistent production quality.
• Maintain proper production records, CNC programs, measurements, and machine-related documentation.
• Ensure efficient material usage and minimize waste during CNC wood processing.
• Maintain CNC machines, tools, fixtures, and work areas in clean, safe, and proper working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with production staff, furniture makers, supervisors, and other machine operators to meet production schedules.
• Perform other CNC woodworking and production-related duties assigned by management.
