Drilling Operator

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Experience may be operational, technical, engineering-related, or project- based, as long as there is a clear HDD connection.
  • Profiles with experience only on small rigs are not what we are looking for. Below (>40 tons) do not present.
  • HDD big rigs are almost scientific in nature, it is not just operational work without knowing the consequences of the drilling.
  • Very high level of English, both spoken and written.
  • They have previous HDD experience or a closely related background (e.g., directional drilling, horizontal well drilling, pipeline construction).

Responsibilities:

  • Operate large HDD drilling rigs (45-150 tons) visa joysticks and control systems
  • Setting up, aligning and calibrating the drilling rig on site for correct drilling
  • Performing pre-drill checks before the actual execution
  • Correct execution of the drilling plans
  • Performing basic maintenance, inspection and minor repairs of the equipment
  • Identifying and resolving operational problems or malfunctions during drilling
