CNC OPERATOR (MILLING /TURNER)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in large machine production.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting 2D technical drawings.
• Experienced in CNC turning or milling/boring of large parts.
• At least a 2-year vocational course in Machinist, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in machining steel and stainless steel (RVS).
• Knowledge of ISO programming; Siemens 840D is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines for turning, milling, and boring of large parts according to technical specifications.
• Read and interpret 2D technical drawings to ensure precise machining and compliance with design requirements.
• Perform CNC operations on steel and stainless steel (RVS), handling large parts with dimensions up to Ø1500 mm and lengths up to 10 m, or milling/boring parts up to 8 m x 3 m and 1–40 tons.
• Ensure machine setup, calibration, and operation are performed accurately for consistent high-quality production.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs as needed; knowledge of ISO programming (Siemens 840D preferred).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and machinery.
