We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality machined components while ensuring precision, safety, and compliance with production specifications.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proven experience in the setup and safe operation of CNC Vertical Turning Machines.
• Strong experience operating CNC 3-Axis, 4-Axis, and 5-Axis Milling Machines, including machines with bar feeders.
• Experience operating 4-Axis and 5-Axis Gantry CNC Machines for machining composite moulds and precision parts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Knowledge of CNC machine controls, tooling, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality precision components.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC Vertical Turning Machines to produce precision-machined components.
• Set up and safely operate CNC 3-Axis, 4-Axis, and 5-Axis Milling Machines, including machines equipped with bar feeders.
• Operate 4-Axis and 5-Axis Gantry CNC Machines for machining composite moulds, tooling, and precision parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and technical specifications.
• Load raw materials, install cutting tools, and adjust machine parameters to meet production requirements.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Identify machining issues, troubleshoot machine problems, and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain production records and ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and manufacturing standards at all times.
