Cleaner

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate.
• Experience in restaurant cleaning, kitchen stewarding, housekeeping, food service, or a similar environment is an advantage.
• Ability to properly clean and handle china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to follow instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Clear tables, chairs, booths, and dining areas promptly after guests leave.
• Collect used plates, china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and other dining or kitchen items.
• Sort used dishes, glassware, cutlery, cookware, and utensils according to type and cleaning requirements.
• Wash and clean china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and other assigned items.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and use appropriate cleaning methods when required.
• Ensure all washed items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and free from food residue.
• Dry and return clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to their designated storage or service areas.
• Reset tables, chairs, and booths after cleaning and prepare them for incoming guests.
• Ensure dining tables and surrounding areas are clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
• Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, counters, and other assigned surfaces.
• Remove food debris, spills, and other waste from dining and service areas.
• Assist kitchen and restaurant staff with maintaining clean and organized work areas.
• Keep dishwashing and cleaning areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Properly handle and store cleaning materials and chemicals according to company procedures.
• Report broken, damaged, or missing china, glassware, utensils, and other equipment to the supervisor.
• Handle glassware, dishes, and kitchen equipment carefully to minimize breakage and damage.
• Follow proper food hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and a clean, professional appearance.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling cleaning equipment, chemicals, and waste.
• Assist with other cleaning, housekeeping, and restaurant support duties as assigned.
• Perform assigned tasks promptly and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the shift.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
