Civil Inspection Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 12 years of working experience in civil construction
• Proven experience in oil and gas infrastructure projects is required
• Strong knowledge of international construction codes (ACI, ASTM, AISC)
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical documents
• Experience in structural steel works, concrete works, and site inspections
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
• Excellent reporting and documentation abilities
• Male applicants are preferred for this role
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular field inspections of site preparation, excavation, backfilling, piling, and concrete pouring
• Inspect structural steel installation, including fireproofing and alignment/setting out of structures
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Verify construction works in accordance with international codes such as ACI, ASTM, and AISC
• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and construction documents
• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and QA/QC teams
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
