Imai Kentetsu Kogyosho Co. Ltd. is seeking qualified and experienced Civil Construction Engineers for deployment to Japan. The successful candidate will be involved in structural and construction site operations while supporting engineering and project activities in accordance with Japanese construction standards.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Female applicants aged 25 to 38 years old are preferred for this role.
  • Experience in structural engineering and construction site work is required.
  • Must be a passer of the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) Level 2 Proficiency Test.
  • Must have passed Japanese Language Proficiency and related skills tests.
  • Open to first-time applicants and ex-abroad workers.
  • JLPT N3 or N4 certification is preferred or considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, structural work, and site coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical documents.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in construction site environments.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising and coordinating structural and civil construction activities on-site.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation accurately.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and workers regarding project requirements and schedules.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control of construction works.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and updates related to project activities and site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and Japanese construction standards.
  • Assist in resolving technical and operational issues encountered during project execution.
  • Support project planning, material coordination, and workflow management.
  • Maintain proper communication with management and engineering teams regarding project developments and site concerns.
