Turbo Staff Limited is seeking experienced Precast Carpenters to join its construction team in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling moulds and formwork used in the production of precast concrete components while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Carpenter (Precast)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience as a Precast Carpenter or similar role.
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Proven track record of overseas employment with supporting documents, including:
- Certificate of Employment (COE)
- Employment Contract
- Letter from Employer
- Pay Slips
- Company ID
- Residence Permit, or equivalent employment records.
- Must possess a valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from the country of work or residence for more than five (5) years, where applicable.
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Preferably with a valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete formwork systems, construction drawings, and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, and maintain moulds and formwork for the manufacture of precast concrete products used in commercial and civil construction projects.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Measure, mark, cut, and assemble timber and other materials with precision.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed moulds and formwork to ensure compliance with quality standards and production requirements.
- Repair and modify existing moulds and formwork as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to meet manufacturing schedules and project deadlines.
- Report material shortages, equipment issues, and quality concerns to supervisors.
