CAREGIVER

Qualifications:

• Female applicants preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Education, Teaching, Training, or related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Observe residents for changes in physical or mental condition, measure vital signs, and report concerns to supervisors.
• Engage with residents to promote social interaction, provide companionship, and foster independence.
• Assist residents with daily hygiene routines, including bathing, oral care, hair care, nail care, and shaving.
• Support residents with feeding, meal preparation, and ensuring adequate hydration.
• Help residents move, transfer (e.g., bed to wheelchair), reposition, and walk safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, manage infection control (e.g., proper linen handling), and use safety equipment properly.
