BUILDING ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Building Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or a related field.
• Previous experience working with building contractors or construction companies is required.
• Skilled in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues on-site.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Knowledgeable in electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for building projects.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site electrical installation issues efficiently.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Perform hands-on electrical works, including conduit installation, cable pulling, cable tray installation, panel board installation, lighting systems, power outlets, grounding systems, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with approved standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with site teams and follow construction schedules and requirements.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
