Carpenter Retail and Property Limited is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for deployment to Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all branch operations, including customer service, sales, administration, human resources, financial management, and business development to ensure the achievement of organizational goals and profitability.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in branch management, banking, financial services, or related fields.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least five (5) years of management experience is required.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of strong performance and successful branch management.
- Strong knowledge of financial operations, budgeting, and branch administration.
- Excellent leadership, management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and computer applications.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive approach to networking, business development, and customer acquisition.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational targets.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Supervise branch activities involving customer service, administration, sales, and operational functions.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop branch employees to achieve performance goals.
- Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate new and existing employees.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Prepare, review, and monitor branch budgets, financial reports, and operational reports.
- Prepare financial statements and ensure accurate reporting of branch performance.
- Develop business plans, forecasts, and operational strategies to support future growth.
- Implement sales and marketing initiatives to increase customer acquisition and business opportunities.
- Monitor branch performance and identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with head office and other departments regarding branch operations and business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and business partners.
- Oversee cash management, financial controls, and risk management procedures.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while ensuring accountability among team members.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and branch documentation.
- Promote a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and employee development.
