Auto Painter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience as an Auto Painter or in a related automotive role
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Automotive or related field
• Male applicants are preferred for this role
• Experience in automotive repair shops is an advantage
• Skilled in buffing and polishing techniques
• Knowledgeable in paint mixing and color matching

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting through sanding, cleaning, and masking
• Mix paints accurately and match colors according to specifications
• Apply paint using spray guns and other painting equipment
• Perform buffing and polishing to achieve smooth and high-quality finishes
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow safety procedures and workplace standards at all times
• Work closely with repair and body shop teams to ensure proper finishing

• Passport valid for more than 3 years preferred (or proof of passport release)
• NBI clearance (valid or with proof of release)
• Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
• PEOS certificate
• Vax Certificate
