Changwon Corporation Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Arc Welder with WQT to perform welding works for electrical construction projects in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing high-quality arc welding operations on metal structures and components while ensuring compliance with project specifications, welding procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has extensive arc welding experience, valid welding qualifications, and proven experience in Electrical Construction projects.
ARC WELDER (With WQT)
Qualifications:
- Must have a VALID TRC.
- Must have WQT (Welder Qualification Test) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the same position as an Arc Welder.
- Proven experience in Electrical Construction projects.
- Skilled in arc welding techniques and industrial welding applications.
- Ability to read and understand welding drawings, symbols, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Experience working in industrial construction environments is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform arc welding works on metal structures, supports, equipment, and other components according to project requirements.
- Execute welding activities following approved welding procedures and technical specifications.
- Prepare materials before welding, including cleaning, fitting, alignment, and joint preparation.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, symbols, and technical documents.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Perform welding repairs and corrective works when required.
- Operate welding machines, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain proper welding techniques and parameters to achieve consistent weld quality.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, technicians, and other construction personnel.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
