ALUMINUM INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Previous experience in aluminum installation and fabrication is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in installing aluminum doors, windows, frames, partitions, and curtain walls.
• Able to accurately measure installation areas and interpret dimensions, layouts, and project specifications.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, layouts, and installation instructions.
• Skilled in cutting, drilling, assembling, fitting, and securing aluminum materials and components.
• Familiar with the proper use of hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and installation hardware.
• Good understanding of aluminum installation procedures, alignment, leveling, fitting, and finishing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual installation work, including lifting and positioning materials.
• Able to work at construction sites and in different working environments as required.
• Safety-conscious and knowledgeable in the proper use of PPE and safe tool-handling practices.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of an installation and fabrication team.

Responsibilities:

• Install aluminum doors, windows, frames, partitions, curtain walls, and other aluminum structures according to project requirements.
• Measure installation areas accurately and verify dimensions against project specifications and approved layouts.
• Read and interpret measurements, layouts, technical drawings, and installation instructions.
• Prepare installation areas by checking surfaces, openings, dimensions, levels, and alignment before installation.
• Cut, drill, assemble, and fit aluminum materials accurately according to required measurements.
• Assemble aluminum frames, profiles, panels, hardware, and related components before installation.
• Position and align aluminum frames and components accurately to ensure proper fit and appearance.
• Secure aluminum frames, doors, windows, partitions, and other components using appropriate tools, fasteners, anchors, brackets, and hardware.
• Install and adjust hinges, handles, locks, rollers, seals, gaskets, and other aluminum system hardware as required.
• Check installed aluminum structures for proper level, plumb, alignment, dimensions, operation, and finish.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure doors, windows, partitions, and other components open, close, and function properly.
• Apply appropriate sealants, adhesives, weatherproofing materials, and finishing products where required.
• Handle aluminum profiles, glass, panels, hardware, and other installation materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Use measuring tools, drills, cutting equipment, grinders, hand tools, and power tools safely and correctly.
• Coordinate with aluminum fabricators, welders, supervisors, contractors, and other workers to ensure smooth installation activities.
• Inspect completed installation work and correct minor defects, alignment issues, gaps, or fitting problems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Follow project specifications, quality-control procedures, workplace safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing installation and fabrication work.
• Report damaged materials, incorrect measurements, structural issues, equipment problems, or other installation concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with dismantling, repair, adjustment, replacement, and maintenance of aluminum structures when required.
• Complete assigned installation work within required project schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.
