Tolu Minerals Limited is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to prepare architectural and construction drawings, provide design and documentation support, and assist with tendering, pre-construction, and site activities.

The successful candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with extensive experience preparing drawings and documentation for commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential projects.

Architectural Draftsperson

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or equivalent.
  • Vocational or Technical qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant qualification certificates.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or Building Designer.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience using Revit for architectural design and documentation.
  • Experience preparing architectural and construction drawings for commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction documentation.
  • Ability to interpret architectural plans, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and architectural documentation.
  • Assist architects, engineers, project managers, and construction teams with design and drafting requirements.
  • Review drawings and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare and update drawings based on design revisions and site requirements.
  • Provide drafting support during tender and pre-construction activities.
  • Assist in preparing documentation required for project submissions and approvals.
  • Support site teams by providing updated drawings and resolving drafting-related issues.
  • Maintain organized project drawings, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with project reports and technical documentation.
  • Ensure drafting activities comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior drafting personnel where required.
  • Participate in training and workforce development activities.
  • Support business development and project preparation activities when required.
