Job Talent is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to support industrial maintenance operations by planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing maintenance work, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring equipment reliability while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE PLANNER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner, Work Preparation Engineer, or in a similar maintenance planning role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical maintenance background with practical experience in equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and maintenance planning.
• Skilled in maintenance planning, scheduling, work preparation, and shutdown coordination.
• Experience using SAP PM/MM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/ERP) is an advantage.
• Good understanding of work permit systems, spare parts management, maintenance documentation, and industrial maintenance best practices.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance teams, operations personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Committed to continuous improvement, workplace safety, and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance activities.
• Prepare detailed work orders, job plans, material requirements, labor estimates, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns, turnarounds, and major equipment overhauls to minimize production downtime.
• Work closely with maintenance supervisors, technicians, operations personnel, and contractors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and adjust work priorities based on operational requirements.
• Manage spare parts requirements and coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure material availability.
• Utilize SAP PM/MM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/ERP) to create, update, and monitor maintenance work orders and equipment records.
• Ensure compliance with work permit systems, company safety policies, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance.
• Support root cause analysis, preventive maintenance optimization, and reliability improvement initiatives.
