We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join Seazen Group Co. in Kuwait. The successful candidate will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring efficient workflow in a fine dining environment.
Junior Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen
- Experience in Italian, Intercontinental, or International cuisine, preferably in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for culinary excellence and continuous learning
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Supervise and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service
- Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and proper storage of food supplies
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment
- Help ensure timely food production while maintaining high quality standards
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef

- Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
